Job Title: Equipment Operator
Duties: The successful candidate will be required to operate front end loader, excavators, forklifts, bulldozers and screening plants. You would be required to load customers with sod, soil, mulch etc at our main location in Markham. You will also be responsible for maintaining and operating McClosky soil screening plants.
Skills: The successful candidate must be able to read, write and speak English effectively. The ability to effectively communicate with the office/customers is a must. You must be able to operate safely and effectively on a site that is always changing and maintain the equipment to a daily basis.
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Saturday are usually half days)
Job Start and End Dates: April – Dec
Specific requirements: You are required to wear CSA approved footwear. We work in all weather conditions so you need to bring appropriate clothing on a daily basis.
Other: There is physical work involved with this position. You will be required to load customers with sod as well as maintaining equipment.
