                        QA Technician-Markham

Primary Function:              To effectively inspect and test repaired product.

Tools & Equipment:          Computer applications using Microsoft Office, applicable measuring devices, and appropriate ESD protection equipment.

Education / Knowledge:  Graduate electrical technologist or equivalent.

Experience:                         Past experience in comparable position will be an asset.

Skills / Competencies:                             

• works under minimum direction from the QA Manager.
• can correctly use all required measuring devices.

• performs inspections and tests as required.

• performs complicated and diversified work.
• effectively troubleshoots product quality problems.

• accurately compiles and categorizes QA rejects.

• completes records accurately, completely, and on time.
• completes work within expected periods of time.
• communicates well with colleagues and the QA Manager.
• works safely avoiding lost time injuries.
• has minimum absenteeism and is punctual.

• performs other work as assigned by the QA Manager.
