Service Technician/Tech Support-Full Time-Port Perry
Job Category: Full Time
Duties;
- Repair and maintain equipment, assemble equipment
- Mechanically inclined with a Technical aptitude
- Assist with Proto Types
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Ability to use hand tools
- Strong problem solving skills
- Provide information to supervisor, co-workers, and customers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or communicate in person- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Provide technical support to customers on equipment, troubleshoot
- Pack and prepare warranty parts for sales staff to ship
- Load and unload trucks, load customer vehicles
- Receive products, verify inventory count for all goods received and report to appropriate personal
- Package, label parts and kits, maintain stock in showroom
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, work area, shop and warehouse clean and orderly; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and safety regulations and manage warehouse
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Motivated, team player, contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and assisting as required
- Prioritize Work, organize, and multi task
- Order stock when required from other warehouse
- Fork lift certified
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
Skills and Qualifications: Safety Management, Computer literate, Punctual, Self-motivated, Excellent Customer Service, Organized, Leadership, Respectful, Continuous Improvement, Developing Standards, Inventory Control, Team Player, knowledge of welding is preferred. High school diploma, community college
Only selected candidates will be invited for an interview. Hourly rate: $15 to $17 per hour, based on experience.
